On March 17, the China (Shenzhen) - Uzbekistan (Bukhara Region) Green Investment, Trade and Tourism Exchange Conference, co-hosted by the Belt and Road Initiative Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) (hereinafter referred to as the Belt and Road Center) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, was held in Shenzhen. A total of 24 government representatives from both sides and nearly 60 enterprise representatives participated in the conference. Relevant personnel from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Shenzhen Council for the Promotion of International Trade attended the meeting. The Chinese and Uzbek sides had in-depth exchanges on fields such as photovoltaic energy storage, new energy vehicles, water treatment, green agriculture, and new energy home appliances, and reached nearly 20 cooperation intentions.
At the exchange conference, the relevant person in charge of the Belt and Road Center introduced the basic situation of Shenzhen's economy, green industries, and the ecological and environmental protection field. Combined with the Kunpeng Trail, the relevant situation of Shenzhen's eco-tourism was also introduced. As a national-level entity platform serving the construction of the Green Belt and Road Initiative, the Belt and Road Center will give full play to its own advantages, comprehensively do a good job in service docking according to the project needs and trade intentions of Uzbekistan. It looks forward to working hand in hand with the Uzbek side to deepen exchanges and cooperation, and injecting new impetus into the cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the field of green development.

The Uzbekistan delegation introduced the basic situation and relevant policies of key fields such as investment, commerce, and tourism in Bukhara Region. The district heads of the Chondor, Shafirkon, and Romitan Districts in Bukhara Region introduced the local situation and put forward investment and trade demands in green agriculture, water treatment, green energy, etc. The Belt and Road Center elaborately promoted 39 enterprises in relevant fields of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. During the free exchange session, Chinese enterprise representatives had in-depth conversations with Uzbek representatives on matters of concern, and a total of nearly 20 preliminary cooperation intentions were formed.
During the closed-door meeting session, representatives of the Uzbekistan government and enterprises had in-depth exchanges on cooperation matters with two Shenzhen enterprises. The Belt and Road Center had in-depth communication with the Uzbek side on aspects such as the International Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Expo, the Short Video Contest of Green Development Stories along the Belt and Road Initiative, eco-tourism, and precise business inspections, and reached cooperation intentions in all aspects.
