On May 6, LONGi Green Energy, together with ENGIE, a world-renowned energy group, and PowerChina, the world's leading power construction company, signed a blockbuster strategic cooperation in Paris, France, in which LONGi Green Energy will provide more than 1GW of high-efficiency upgraded Hi-MO 9 modules. The signing of this global large-scale BC cooperation means that the high-efficiency BC technology has fully entered the stage of large-scale application and commercial value realization, and also marks the global photovoltaic ecological "running" into the BC era.

Paulo Almirante, Senior Executive Vice President of Renewable Energy and Flexible Power Generation at ENGIE, Chen Guanfu, Chairman of PowerChina International Engineering Co., Ltd., Li Zhenguo, Founder and President of LONGi Green Energy, She Haifeng, Vice President of LONGi Green Energy, and Cui Meng, President of LONGi Green Energy Centralized Europe, attended the signing ceremony.

The upgraded version of the new BC second-generation Hi-MO 9 module supplied by LONGi Green Energy has a power of up to 670W and a conversion efficiency of up to 24.8%, which still has ultra-low attenuation performance in various complex scenarios such as high temperature and high humidity, and can significantly reduce the risk of module failure and fire, and release more energy and value in the whole life cycle of the power station. The achievement of this strategic cooperation will greatly promote the realization of renewable energy targets in the Middle East and Africa region and accelerate the clean transformation of the local energy structure.

As the flagship product of LONGi Green Energy's Hi-MO series modules, Hi-MO 9 is based on HPBC 2.0 technology, and the back-contact cell design can effectively solve the shading and shadow effects on the front of the module, maximize the light absorption rate, and ensure excellent power generation performance and long-term reliability in harsh desert conditions. Powered by the LONGi Product Life Cycle Standard and the industry's first Lighthouse manufacturing process, Hi-MO 9 minimizes the impact of humidity and temperature fluctuations on module performance, making it a better choice for harsh outdoor environments.

Li Zhenguo, founder and president of LONGi Green Energy, said that the signing of the tripartite cooperation agreement will help LONGi Green Energy establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership with ENGIE and PowerChina on the basis of the existing cooperation. The three parties will give full play to their respective advantages in project development, technological innovation and project implementation, continue to expand the results of cooperation, and lead the global clean energy revolution.

"ENGIE's application of the second generation of BC technology Hi-MO 9 modules to this strategic cooperation fully proves the global energy industry's affirmation and recognition of the ultimate route of photovoltaic technology, that is, high-efficiency BC technology." "At the same time, the tripartite cooperation not only accelerates the local net-zero emission goal, but also sets a new standard for the construction of large-scale photovoltaic power plants around the world, reaffirming LONGi's commitment to providing more efficient, reliable and sustainable solutions to customers around the world." ”

With the intensive implementation of more high-efficiency BC photovoltaic power plants around the world, a new and more sustainable future is accelerating towards us.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
