On May 20, a significant milestone was reached in the new energy cooperation project between CRRC (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation) and Kazakhstan's National Railway Company – the CKD6H hybrid power locomotive officially rolled off the production line at CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. Scheduled to arrive in Kazakhstan in June, these locomotives, as a landmark achievement of the Belt and Road Initiative, will inject green momentum into Kazakhstan's railway transportation and promote regional connectivity and sustainable development. 

"Green and Intelligent" Locomotives Customized for Extreme Cold Environments  

Developed on CRRC's standard platform for new energy locomotives, the CKD6H model is optimally designed for the extremely cold climate of -40°C in Central Asia. Equipped with a hybrid power system combining an "internal combustion engine + power battery," it integrates digital, intelligent, and green technologies, featuring five core advantages: **"environmental-friendly, safe, intelligent, economical, and reliable".  

Energy-saving and Efficient: The intelligent energy management system achieves over 45% fuel savings compared to traditional diesel locomotives, with each locomotive reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 240 tons annually, significantly lowering carbon footprints.  

Low Noise and Eco-friendly: Noise levels are reduced by 80%, and pollutant emissions are drastically cut, aligning with the global trend toward green and low-carbon development.  

Intelligent and Reliable: Integrated with advanced control systems, the locomotives adapt to complex road conditions and extreme climates, ensuring transportation safety and stability. 

CRRC's New Energy Portfolio Empowers Global Markets  

This collaboration not only represents deepened bilateral cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in rail transit but also demonstrates CRRC's technical prowess in the new energy sector.
