On June 10, the Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge ushered in important construction progress, and the first hanging steel girder of the main navigation hole was successfully erected, marking the main navigation hole bridge of the bridge officially entered the superstructure construction stage.

Next to the No. 3 main pier of the Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge, a hydraulic ship is berthed steadily, and the first steel girder section on the Shanghai side of the main navigation hole bridge weighing more than 890 tons is loaded on board. The 1100-ton orange girder crane is erected on top of the steel beam, ready to be opened for hoisting and erection. It is understood that after the first section of the steel girder of the main navigation hole bridge is lifted, it will be connected with the guide beam and pushed to the No. 1 pier.

Since this is the first time that the 1,100-ton girder crane has been used, the construction party has carried out rigorous test lifting work before the official lifting. After receiving the construction instructions, the 1,100-ton girder crane grabbed the steel beam and slowly lifted it into the air. When the steel beam rises to the same height as the guide beam, it completes the docking with the guide beam accurately. Subsequently, under the guidance of the guide beam, the steel beam is smoothly connected with the steel beam that has been erected. "We have verified that the 1,100-ton girder crane operation can meet the subsequent hoisting requirements and ensure the smooth erection of the steel beam." The erection of the first steel girder of the main navigation hole bridge adopts the method of pushing and erection, that is, the prefabricated steel girder is hoisted and moved in place along the slipway. The steel girder section hoisted this time is also the largest steel girder section of the Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge currently hoisted, with high construction accuracy requirements and difficult water construction.

The smooth erection of the first crane steel girder marks that the main navigation hole bridge of the bridge has officially entered the superstructure construction stage. The construction work is located in the main channel of the north branch of the Yangtze River, which has an average of 30 to 50 ships per day. Due to the long operation time and the participation of multiple construction vessels, the Chongming maritime department and the construction unit jointly formulated a safety guarantee plan in advance and released the operation information in advance. Through electronic cruising and maritime patrol boats, a three-dimensional cruising mode is created to remind passing ships in time to ensure the smooth progress of construction and the smoothness and safety of the waterway.

Deng Xinhua, deputy captain of the North Branch Coast Patrol Law Enforcement Brigade of Chongming Maritime Safety Bureau, said: "We have arranged two tugboats and two warning boats to carry out all-round protection of the upstream, bottom and midstream to avoid passing ships from entering the construction area and ensure smooth navigation." ”

With a total length of 4.09 kilometers, the Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge connects Qidong, Jiangsu Province and Chongming, Shanghai, and consists of a main navigable hole bridge and a non-navigable hole bridge. The main navigation hole bridge is a double-tower double-cable-faced steel truss combined girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 400 meters, and it is also the world's largest span ballastless track cable-stayed bridge for road and railway. After the completion of the Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge, the upper layer is a two-way 6-lane first-class highway with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour; The lower level is a double-track high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a double-track intercity railway with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
