Recently, China Road, Bridge and Rwanda Transportation Development Bureau signed a general contract for the Nyungwe Forest Road (32 km) project. This project is an important route from Rwanda to Burundi and has important national defense significance.

The main part of the project is to build a 7-meter-wide asphalt concrete road on the original soil road, which longitudinally passes through the forest and extends to the junction of Rwanda and Burundi. The project is funded by the Rwandan government and the construction period is 19 months.

China Road and Bridge actively promotes localization construction in Rwanda, realizes sustainable operation, realizes mutual benefit, win-win and common development.
