A whistle awakens the taste buds. An international freight train loaded with characteristic foods from Central Asian countries has recently slowly entered the Chengdu International Railway Port in Sichuan. Chocolate cereal from Kazakhstan, flaxseed oil from Tajikistan, dried fruits from Turkmenistan, dairy products from Uzbekistan, and even honey from Kyrgyzstan... These "tongue tip delicacies" from Central Asia are quickly reaching the Chinese people's dining tables through the efficient and convenient "steel camel caravan", experiencing exotic flavors in less than two weeks.

In the Kazakhstan Pavilion in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu, a starry sky felt house is filled with a dazzling array of camel milk powder, chocolate, candies, and more. The person in charge pointed to the camel model and said, "The traditional camel caravan has gone far away, and now the train is a non-stop station. As the hub of the Central Asia train, Chengdu has greatly shortened the transportation time of goods in Central Asia, and reduced the logistics cost by 5% to 10%." Since May 11, the Chengdu Central Asia public train has been running normally, and the whole journey is 4853 kilometers from Khorgos to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Chengdu International Railway Port

The person in charge of Chengdu International Railway Port introduced that the train has covered four countries including Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, and extended to Azerbaijan, implementing fixed-point, fixed line, and timed shipping to provide efficient logistics for small and medium-sized enterprises. According to Chinese customs data, imports and exports to the five Central Asian countries increased by 10.4% year-on-year in the first five months of this year, with imports of agricultural products from Central Asia growing by 26.9%.

From "one-way output" to "two-way circulation", when Kazakhstan wheat is made into Chongqing noodles, Tajikistan milk powder is sold to Guangdong, China's new energy vehicles are heading towards Central Asia, and the trade network extends along the railway tracks. The whistle of this' steel camel caravan 'is composing a new chapter of interconnectivity, where the inland becomes the forefront and the hinterland becomes the hub.(This article is from the official website of Jian Dao www.seetao.com.
