On July 7, 2025, the annual output of 30GWh new energy battery production base project in Lanzhou New Area was officially signed, marking the next step in the expansion of Anhui Guoke Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in the field of energy storage. With a total investment of 9 billion yuan, the project will be constructed in three phases, with a production capacity of 10GWh per phase, and will form a large-scale production capacity of 30GWh per year after completion, covering battery cell production, R&D center and supporting infrastructure. This is the fourth large-scale battery project of CAS Energy after Chuzhou, Nanjing and Anqing, and its national production capacity planning has exceeded 90GWh, with a total investment of 34 billion yuan.
The rapid rise of new energy storage forces
Although it was established less than three years ago (registered in August 2022), CAS Energy has quickly completed the leap from R&D to mass production with the technical background of its core team from the world's top 10 power battery companies. At present, its Chuzhou base has achieved an annual production capacity of 7GWh, the Anqing 10GWh project is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2025, and the Lanzhou project will further strengthen its layout in the northwest market. In terms of products, the company focuses on 205Ah-314Ah large-capacity lithium iron phosphate cells, and launches an integrated liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet, which has an energy density increase of 40% compared with traditional solutions, and is suitable for multiple scenarios such as power supply side, grid side and heavy trucks.
Two-wheel drive to open up domestic and foreign markets
Recently, Guoke Energy has reached a cooperation with international household storage giants, and the first batch of 27.3MWh battery cells has been sent to South Africa, marking a breakthrough in its "domestic and international dual circulation" strategy. According to the official website, the company has previously established supply relationships with household storage companies such as Mercer and Ampere Times. This business model, with direct battery cell supply as the core, is helping it quickly enter the global energy storage industry chain.
