The Chinese tire manufacturing industry is experiencing new progress in intelligent upgrading. The intelligent upgrade and renovation project of the butyl rubber inner tube production line of Black Cat Tire (Fujian) Co., Ltd. has recently received official approval from the Ecological Environment Bureau of Longyan City, Fujian Province. The project is located at No. 26 Industrial Road, Gongmao New Area, Zhangping Industrial Park, Fujian Province, marking a key step for the enterprise in capacity expansion and intelligent manufacturing.

According to the approval documents, the project will achieve an annual production capacity of 36 million butyl rubber inner tubes after implementation. The specific construction content includes: adjusting the originally planned Phase II project (with an annual output of 18 million inner tubes) to the factory area of Jinde Rubber (Fujian) Co., Ltd., and adding 18 million tubes of production capacity. The project innovatively adopts a new type of shower screen technology to replace traditional production methods, while optimizing the production process and eliminating the original grinding tool maintenance link.

In terms of production technology, the project will use rubber, recycled rubber, carbon black, rubber oil and other main raw materials to produce high-quality butyl inner tube products through a complete process of cutting, mixing, opening, filtering, screen spraying, extrusion, vulcanization and other processes. This technological transformation is expected to significantly improve production efficiency by over 30% and significantly enhance product quality.

Public information shows that Black Cat Tire (Fujian) Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 and currently has two major production bases in Fujian Province: Jinde Rubber (Fujian) Co., Ltd. and Black Cat Tire (Fujian) Co., Ltd. The two factories cover a total area of 150000 square meters, with a building area of 120000 square meters. They specialize in producing inner and outer tires for bicycles, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and scooters. Currently, their daily production capacity has reached 100000 outer tires and 100000 inner tires.

Industry analysts point out that with the sustained prosperity of China's electric vehicle and motorcycle markets, the annual demand for high-end inner tube products is growing at a rate of 15%. After the intelligent transformation project of Black Cat Tire is put into operation, it will not only meet the growing market demand, but also strengthen the competitive advantage of enterprises in segmented fields through process innovation, and is expected to increase market share by more than 20%.
