The G571 TXJY project, located in Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has completed the bidding process for the construction of the Lapeiquan Bashkorgan highway. The total estimated investment for the project is 7.125 billion yuan, marking a new stage in the construction of transportation infrastructure in the region.

G571TXJY project is located in Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a construction mileage of 190.362 kilometers. It is constructed according to the standard of two-way four lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a vehicle load of Class I highway. The entire line adopts a closed toll collection mode, with a total of 5 large bridges (total length of 690 meters), 28 medium bridges (total length of 1776 meters), and 48 small bridges (total length of 1240 meters), equipped with 9 channels and 425 culverts. In addition, the project also plans to have 4 interchanges, 3 ramp toll stations, 2 U-turns, 1 service area, 2 maintenance work areas (one of which will be built together with the service area and the other with the ramp toll station), and 2 parking areas.

The construction period of this project is expected to be 3 years, with plans to start in 2025 and complete in 2027 (specific time subject to actual progress). According to the feasibility report data, the estimated total investment for the project is 7125.1206 million yuan, with an average cost of 37.4293 million yuan per kilometer. The investment composition includes: construction and installation engineering costs of 5856.9773 million yuan, land use and demolition compensation fees of 68.1248 million yuan, other construction costs of 295.2027 million yuan, contingency funds of 559.8274 million yuan, and loan interest during the construction period of 344.9884 million yuan. The final investment scale and technical standards shall be subject to the approval of relevant departments.

After strict evaluation, Xinjiang Communications Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., as the leader, joined forces with Xinjiang Communications Construction Management Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Communications Industry Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Communications Planning Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Communications Technology Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Metallurgical Construction (Group) Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Communications Maintenance Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Road and Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Green Power Transportation Industry Technology Co., Ltd., China Communications Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Communications Second Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. to successfully win the bid and become the franchisee of the project. Shaanxi Transportation Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and China Electric Power Construction Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd. ranked second and third respectively.

The implementation of G571TXJY project will further improve the transportation network of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, improve the level of regional connectivity, and is of great significance to promoting economic development along the the Belt and Road and strengthening economic and trade exchanges between western China and Central Asian countries.
