The five major engineering bureaus of China Railway Co., Ltd. recently jointly won the Jiangxi section of the new Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed railway, with a total bid amount of 17.27 billion yuan. This high-speed rail project across Jiangxi and Hunan provinces will pass through the old revolutionary area and become an important transportation artery connecting central and southern China.
The main line of the Jiangxi section of the Changjiang-Jiangxi high-speed railway has a total length of 297.573 kilometers, 9 stations along the line, 110.979 kilometers of new bridges and 157.986 kilometers of tunnels, and a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of 88.24%, setting a new record for domestic high-speed rail construction. The Second and Third Bureaus of China Railway, the Tunnel Bureau, the Eighth Bureau and the First Bureau will undertake the construction of five key bid sections, among which the control projects such as the Wugongshan Tunnel and the Jinggangshan Tunnel Tunnel are particularly eye-catching.

As an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, the Changjiang high-speed railway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2027.
