The 304.94-kilometer-long cross-border railway will pass through Naren and Jalalabad states in southeastern Kyrgyzstan, including 167.537 kilometers of standard gauge sections and 138.768 kilometers of broad gauge sections, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of up to 39% and a total of 20 stations.

In the fierce bidding, China Railway First Academy Group Southern Engineering Consulting Supervision Co., Ltd. won the ZJWXCJL-2 bid with a quotation of 51.146 million yuan, Beijing Railway Research Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. won the ZJWXCJL-3 bid section with 50.46 million yuan, and Tianjin New Asia Pacific Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. won the bid for the ZJWXCJL-4 bid with 42.89 million yuan. It is worth noting that the Fourth Railway Institute (Hubei) Engineering Supervision Consulting Co., Ltd. and Beijing Tiecheng Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. were shortlisted in the top three in many bid sections, showing the overall strength of China's railway supervision enterprises.
