Angolan President Lorenzo inspects the Cayo New Port project

Recently, Angolan President Jo ã o Lorenzo visited the site of the Cayo New Port project, which was constructed by China Road and Bridge Corporation. First Lady Anna Diaz Lorenzo, as well as the Vice President of the ruling party, Mala Quiosa, Minister of Economic Coordination, Jose Massano, Minister of Transport, Ricardo Dabulu, Minister of Finance, Vila de Sousa, Minister of Interior, Manuel Omen, Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Jo ã o Baptista Borges, and Governor of Cabinda, Susanna Dabulu, and other political leaders accompanied him to attend the inspection event.

At the project site, President Lorenzo carefully listened to a detailed report on the implementation progress of the Cayo New Port project, and then went deep into the front line of construction to inspect the progress of the dock construction on site. He conducted a detailed understanding of the core structure and key construction processes of the port dock. President Lorenzo fully recognized the phased construction achievements of the project and highly praised China Road and Bridge Corporation's strict standards in engineering construction quality control, as well as its outstanding contributions in helping solve local employment problems.

It is reported that the new port of Cayo is located in Cabinda Province, Angola. The core project content includes the construction of an offshore container and general cargo terminal, the simultaneous promotion of the construction of the supporting park in the rear, and the completion of the procurement and configuration of port machinery equipment. After the project is fully completed, it will become a key infrastructure supporting the diversified development of Angola's export trade, providing a solid guarantee for the country's various commodities to smoothly enter the international market and participate in global competition.
