China Electric Power Construction Corporation recently released its business performance for the period of January to August 2025, with impressive data showing strong strength and global development resilience in the energy and power sector.

The main business situation disclosed by the company shows that the newly signed contract amount of China Power Construction Corporation exceeded 800 billion yuan in the first eight months, reaching 800.797 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.71%. The business segments showed differentiated growth, especially in the overseas market, which has become an important force in promoting the company's performance improvement.

From the perspective of business types, the energy and power sector continues to play a core driving role, with a newly signed contract amount of 516.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.30%, and a total of 3579 signed projects. Among them, the growth of wind power and hydropower business is particularly strong: wind power signed new contracts worth 166.256 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 61.27%; The newly signed hydropower business amounted to 123.536 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 58.88%. The pumped storage part has been slightly adjusted, with a new signing of 49.319 billion yuan, a slight decrease of 4.78% year-on-year.

The solar power generation sector has signed 724 new projects with a contract amount of 128.072 billion yuan, maintaining stable output. At the same time, as an emerging direction, new energy storage has signed 128 projects with a total amount of 31.03 billion yuan, demonstrating high growth potential.

In terms of regional performance, the domestic market remained stable, with newly signed contracts worth 620.957 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 0.61%; The overseas market has achieved a significant leap, with new signings of 179.841 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.90%, and significant results in international expansion.

In terms of major projects, in August 2025, China Power Construction won multiple billion level photovoltaic projects, including the Dadinkawa Photovoltaic Project in Nigeria, the Huaneng Xinjiang Jinghe Industrial Park Low carbon Transformation 1 million kilowatt Photovoltaic Project (Sections 1 and 2), and the Opus Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in the Philippines, further consolidating its leading position in global clean energy construction.
