Recently, China's energy storage battery industry has ushered in a new round of investment boom, with five key projects intensively signed or started construction, with a total investment scale of over 5.8 billion yuan, and technology routes covering multiple fields such as vanadium batteries, solid-state batteries, and lithium batteries.
Specific projects include: Yinfeng New Energy investing 500 million yuan to build a vanadium battery research and production base in Yuelu High tech Zone; Huizhou Pucheng Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract to construct a lithium battery headquarters building in Zhongkai High tech Zone; The solid-state battery project with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan by Tailan New Energy has officially started construction in Qianjiang, Hubei; The 8GW solid-state battery project invested by Hami Haochen Xinghui Company with 1.8 billion yuan is being intensively constructed and is expected to be put into trial production in December 2025; And the flow battery manufacturing base project with a total investment of 2 billion yuan in Hangzhou Qingshanhu Science and Technology City is about to start construction.

The advancement of these projects demonstrates the new trend of diversified development of China's energy storage industry in 2025. Among them, solid-state battery projects have shown particularly outstanding performance. Except for the Qianjiang project, Tailan New Energy's 0.2GWh production line in Chongqing is close to full capacity, and its 12GWh under construction capacity is expected to be put into initial production within the year; The Anhui base will also start construction in 2023, with a planned production capacity of 10 GWh.
At the same time, the solid-state battery project of Hami Haochen Xinghui, as the first similar production base in the northwest region, innovatively adopts the "technology transfer+enclave park" model, and will form a complete industrial chain after completion. The flow battery project in Hangzhou Qingshanhu Science and Technology City is planned to build a large manufacturing base of 410000 square meters, which will be implemented in two phases.
Industry experts point out that the concentrated launch of these projects not only reflects the high recognition of the energy storage industry by the capital market, but also marks the acceleration of China's energy storage battery industry towards technological diversification, scale and high-end direction, providing important support for the sustainable development of the new energy industry.
