The bidding results for the construction project of the Jiashan Xitang City Railway (referred to as the "Shanxi Railway") strong electricity project have been announced, and China Railway 11th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has successfully won the bid with a price of 147 million yuan. As the core control project of Shanxi Railway, this project covers the construction of key systems such as contact network, traction substation, and power monitoring. The planned construction period is 21 months, and it is expected to be completed and delivered in June 2025, laying an important foundation for the full opening of the line in 2026.

The Shanxi Railway has a total length of about 24.8 kilometers, starting from Jiashan South Station, passing through Luoxing Street and Xitang Town, and ending at Xitang Station. It has a designed speed of 160 kilometers per hour and a total of 5 stations. The high-voltage project won this time includes 2 220kV traction substations, 5 10kV distribution substations, and the installation of a 35 kilometer overhead contact system, which will provide stable power supply for trains. China Railway 11th Bureau will adopt new technologies such as intelligent wrist arm pre configuration and contact network laser measurement to ensure engineering accuracy reaches millimeter level.

As a key project of the ecological and green integrated development demonstration zone in the Yangtze River Delta, the Shanxi Railway will achieve a 15 minute connection between the main urban area of Jiashan and Xitang Ancient Town after completion, and will be connected to the national high-speed railway network through the Jiashan South Station of the Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway. The project adopts the "railway+cultural tourism" model, integrating water town architectural styles into the stations along the line, synchronously constructing bicycle lanes and pedestrian systems, and creating a comprehensive transportation hub of "station city integration".Editor/Bian Wenjun
