The land of western Zhejiang is about to usher in a historic leap in transportation patterns. Recently, the construction land for the Jinhua Wucheng to Zhejiang Jiangxi border (Quzhou section) project of the Yongjin Quzhou Expressway has been officially approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources, and this super project with a total investment of 29.34 billion yuan has made critical progress. As a high-speed artery spanning the central and western regions of Zhejiang, this project will completely reshape the transportation map of the four provinces and inject strong impetus into the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

As a crucial component of the nine vertical, nine horizontal, five ring, and five channel multi connected expressway network in the Zhejiang Province Comprehensive Three dimensional Transportation Network Plan, the Ningbo Jinhua Quzhou Expressway is not only a newly added inter provincial expressway in the national Shanghai Kunming comprehensive transportation corridor, but also a strategic infrastructure serving the opening of the Yiwu Ningbo Zhoushan Grand Corridor.

The project starts in Wucheng District, Jinhua City, runs through Longyou County, Qujiang District, Kecheng District, and Jiangshan City in Quzhou City, and finally reaches the Zhejiang Jiangxi provincial border in Fenglin Town, Jiangshan City. The entire line will be constructed according to the standard of a two-way six lane expressway, with 12 interchanges, 10 ramp toll stations, and 3 service areas. After the completion of the project, an efficient "two vertical and three horizontal" comprehensive three-dimensional transportation structure will be formed within the Quzhou city area, and the inter provincial connectivity efficiency will be significantly improved. To the east, it can directly reach Ningbo Zhoushan Port, greatly reducing the travel time from Quzhou to the port from 4.5 hours to 2.7 hours; To the west, it can reach Shangrao, Jiangxi in just one hour; To connect Anhui to the north and Fujian to the south, truly building a cross provincial linkage artery that extends in all directions.
