Recently, the online approval hall for investment projects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region officially announced that the Zhongke One Carbon Keshiketeng Banner Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production to Methanol and SAF Integration Project, with a total investment of 7.5 billion yuan, has completed the filing and approval process. The implementation of this major project not only marks a crucial step for Zhongke One Carbon in the layout of the entire green energy industry chain, but also injects new momentum into the construction of clean energy bases in northern China, helping the aviation industry achieve dual breakthroughs in decarbonization and high-value utilization of new energy.
It is reported that the project is located in Keshiketeng Industrial Park, Chifeng, and is led by Zhongke One Carbon Energy Technology (Chifeng) Co., Ltd. As a core project under Zhonghan Science and Technology Economic Development Corporation, it relies on the parent company's technological accumulation and resource integration capabilities in the field of energy technology. The project plan construction period is from April 2026 to December 2027, and will build a closed-loop industrial chain of "green electricity green hydrogen green alcohol SAF", creating a benchmark project for the deep coupling of new energy and green chemical industry. Specifically, the project will be promoted in three core areas: firstly, the construction of an electrolytic water hydrogen production line, equipped with a complete set of equipment for gas-liquid separation, purification, and purification, with an annual output of 62500 tons of green hydrogen after reaching production capacity; The second is to establish a green methanol synthesis system, which can produce 500000 tons of green methanol annually through biomass gasification and combined purification technology; The third is to build a SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) synthesis production line, achieving a large-scale output of 100000 tons of green aviation fuel per year.

The core advantage of the project lies in its deep integration with the rich local scenic resources in Inner Mongolia, and its ability to overcome multiple industry pain points. As a clean energy rich region in the north, Keshiketeng Banner will provide stable green power support for projects with sufficient wind and solar energy, achieving an efficient closed-loop of "wind and solar power generation on-site consumption fuel conversion" and effectively resolving the problem of "wind and solar power abandonment" in new energy. As a key solution for short-term decarbonization in the aviation industry, the terminal product SAF, with an annual production capacity of 100000 tons, will significantly alleviate the shortage of green aviation fuel in China, help the aviation industry cope with international carbon reduction pressure, and fill the industrial gap in large-scale SAF production in China. At the same time, green methanol, as an important chemical raw material and clean energy carrier, will also provide key support for the green transformation of the regional modern coal chemical industry.
From the perspective of Zhongke One Carbon's industrial layout, this project is an important milestone in its deep cultivation of the green energy track.
