Recently, there has been another heavyweight news in the domestic offshore new energy field - Beijing Energy Group has officially finalized a 400MW offshore new energy project, marking a crucial step for the company in the layout of marine green energy and injecting strong impetus into the development of China's offshore clean energy industry.
It is reported that the project is located in the high-quality coastal waters of eastern China. With the unique advantages of wind energy resources and mature marine development conditions, it is planned to build a composite new energy base integrating offshore wind power generation and energy storage. The total investment of the project exceeds 5 billion yuan, and it is expected to install multiple high-power offshore wind turbines, supporting the construction of intelligent energy storage systems and offshore transmission channels, and comprehensively build an efficient operation system for the entire chain of "power generation energy storage transmission". After the completion of the project, the annual power generation can reach over 1.2 billion kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to reducing the consumption of standard coal by about 360000 tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 980000 tons per year. It will effectively alleviate the regional energy supply-demand contradiction and provide solid support for the local industry's green transformation and the achievement of the "dual carbon" goal.
