Recently, Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Longi") has once again achieved good news in the field of energy storage. Its planned 300MW/1200MWh independent energy storage project in Inner Mongolia has been officially approved by relevant local departments. As a landmark project of Longi's deep cultivation of energy storage track, this project not only breaks the record for the layout of large-scale energy storage projects in North China, but also provides solid support for the consumption of new energy and the safe and stable operation of the power grid in Inner Mongolia, helping to accelerate the transformation of regional energy structure towards clean and low-carbon.

It is reported that the independent energy storage project adopts industry-leading lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries and high-efficiency energy storage inverters (PCS). The total investment of the project is expected to exceed 1.5 billion yuan, and core facilities such as energy storage battery cabins, energy storage converter stations, and control systems are planned to be constructed. The project has a designed energy storage time of 4 hours, with multiple functions such as rapid charging and discharging, peak shaving and frequency regulation, and backup emergency. After completion, the annual dispatching capacity is about 240 million kilowatt hours, which can effectively stabilize the volatility and intermittency of new energy generation such as wind power and photovoltaic power in Inner Mongolia, and greatly improve the proportion of new energy consumption in the regional power grid. At the same time, the project adopts an intelligent operation and maintenance management system, which can achieve real-time monitoring of equipment status, fault warning, and remote control, ensuring stable and efficient operation throughout the project lifecycle.
The person in charge of Longi's energy storage business stated that the approval of the independent energy storage project in Inner Mongolia is an important step for the company to implement the strategy of "building a zero carbon energy system". In recent years, Longi has continued to increase its technological research and industrial layout in the field of energy storage, forming a full chain service capability from energy storage batteries, modules to system integration.
