Recently, the bidding results for the procurement of solar modules for the fourth phase of the National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Demonstration Experimental Platform (Daqing Base) photovoltaic project were announced. Utmo Light's 2.81m ² perovskite photovoltaic modules were successfully awarded, with a total capacity of 1MW. This is Utmo Light's second bid after the 1MW of the third phase of the State Power Investment Corporation's Daqing Base, and it is also the largest perovskite photovoltaic module that has officially entered the national level demonstration platform for large-scale outdoor verification, which will accelerate the process of large-scale commercial application of perovskite modules.

The National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Empirical Experimental Platform (Daqing Base) is the world's first national level photovoltaic and energy storage outdoor empirical experimental platform led by the State Power Investment Group. The fourth phase of the project will be launched in November 2025, focusing on comparative and empirical research of new photovoltaic technologies such as perovskite and perovskite stacked modules, aiming to provide authoritative and systematic outdoor empirical data support for the innovative development of photovoltaic and energy storage technologies in China. It is an important infrastructure to serve the country's energy transformation and carbon neutrality goals.

Utmo Light 2.81 ㎡ perovskite photovoltaic modules have obtained series certifications such as IEC61215/61730/61701, CCC, cT Ü Vus, etc., passed the EU RoHS testing, and demonstrated excellent power generation gain and environmental adaptability in commercial applications in Wuxi, Shanghai, and other places. The Daqing base project will further monitor its actual application performance in different scenarios and climates, providing important data support for the development and large-scale commercial promotion of perovskite technology.

It is worth mentioning that the Utmo Light 0.72 ㎡ perovskite photovoltaic module has successfully settled in the third phase of the Daqing base project in January 2025, with a total installed capacity of 1MW. During this period, it has undergone severe tests in complex climates such as cloudy clouds, wind and snow, and high and low temperature differences. The Utmo Light perovskite module's power generation data has remained stable, with an average PR value (system efficiency) close to 100%, demonstrating unexpected high efficiency and stability performance.

The winning bid for the demonstration project of State Power Investment Corporation Daqing Base once again fully demonstrates the industry's attention and expectations for Utmo Light perovskite technology and product strength. In the future, Utmo Light will continue to focus on the research and innovation of perovskite technology, actively promote the study of the operating characteristics of perovskite components in actual power plant environments, accelerate the maturity process of perovskite technology from the laboratory to the large-scale market, and inject new momentum into the technological iteration and energy structure transformation of China's photovoltaic industry.Editor/Cheng Liting
