The first layer is the power grid function. The power station is responsible for peak shaving, valley filling, frequency regulation, phase modulation, and emergency backup. Its 6-hour continuous full load capacity provides a controllable outlet for new energy and becomes the "stabilizer" of Qinghai power grid.

The second layer is the consumption of new energy. The power station can directly regulate 2.4 million kilowatts of wind power and 5 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, driving nearly 14.8 billion kilowatt hours of new energy generation annually, which is of great significance for the transformation of the energy structure in Northwest China.

The third layer is industrial support. As the core pivot of the Haixi 10 million kilowatt new energy base, without it, wind and solar power would only be limited in scale; With it, it is the system.

The fourth layer is the environmental account. Annual substitution of 4.63 million tons of standard coal and emission reduction of 26.64 million tons of carbon dioxide are significant in ecologically fragile high-altitude areas.
