According to the order signed by the President of Uzbekistan, the country will embark on a large-scale road renovation project, with plans to upgrade 4000 kilometers of main roads in stages to become modern highways that meet international standards.

The funding source for this project adopts a diversified model, supported jointly by the Ukrainian national budget and international financial institutions. In terms of renovation direction, the focus is on key channels connecting various states within Ukraine. The sections of Anjiyan Kungrad, Tashkent Tiermez, Samarkand Shahrisabuz, and Alat Sariasi have been included in the key renovation scope. These highway routes have extremely important strategic significance in improving the domestic logistics system and transit transportation in Ukraine, and are key links in promoting domestic economic circulation and foreign trade exchanges.

In addition to building highways, Uzbekistan also has detailed plans for road renovation in other regions. We plan to comprehensively renovate the roads in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, and Surkhan River regions. Specifically, 220 kilometers of international and national highways, as well as 80 kilometers of local roads, will be renovated to further strengthen the domestic road network.
