On March 10, 2026 at 10 o'clock, the first pair of 500 meter long steel rails for the Jinan Binzhou high-speed railway were successfully laid on the Huibin No.2 super large bridge in Binzhou, Shandong, and the project officially entered the track laying stage. The Jibin High speed Railway is a key component of Shandong Province's rapid railway network, the Lubei Passage, and the intercity railway network of the Jinan metropolitan area. It is also an important connecting line between the Beijing Shanghai Passage and the Qingdao Taiyuan Passage in the main framework of the national eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railways, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

To ensure high-quality and efficient track laying operations, the construction unit has carefully deployed and scientifically coordinated, investing over a hundred sets of various professional mechanical equipment such as transportation, track laying, and traction to fully improve construction progress and quality.

At present, the construction of the Jibin high-speed railway project is advancing at full speed, and key breakthroughs have been achieved in the control engineering of the entire line. The main bridge of the Jiyang Yellow River dual-purpose highway and railway super large bridge has been fully closed, the main structure of the remote wall airport station has been successfully topped out, and mechanical and electrical installation and internal decoration work are being carried out.
