Vice Minister Ilzat Kasimov sat face-to-face with Wang Xiangrong, Chairman of China Leo Group, and had in-depth exchanges on the production of water pump equipment and the upgrading of water management. From introducing modern water pump technology to exploring cooperation models between government and social capital, from building science and technology parks to expanding bilateral cooperation, this handshake across the Eurasian continent is injecting new vitality into Uzbekistan's agricultural irrigation and water resource management.

The talks focus on upgrading water conservancy

Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Wang Xiangrong, Chairman of China Leo Group, held talks in Tashkent, where the two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting investment projects. The project aims to produce modern water pump equipment and develop water management infrastructure in Uzbekistan. Wu Fang stated that the introduction of modern water pump technology is expected to improve the efficiency of water resource management, assist in the modernization of irrigation systems in various regions, and provide strong support for agricultural production and ecological protection.

PPP model construction of pumping stations

During the meeting, both parties discussed the prospects of building pumping stations through a cooperation model between the government and social capital. The PPP model can effectively integrate government resources and corporate capital, accelerate the pace of water infrastructure construction, and improve operational efficiency and service quality. At the same time, both parties plan to establish a professional science and technology park focused on advanced engineering and technological solutions, providing platform support for pump equipment manufacturing, technology research and development, and talent cultivation, and promoting the localized development of the water conservancy industry chain in Uzbekistan.
