At 20:00 on April 12, 2026, as the Shenjia 898 ship carrying 4250 tons of cargo slowly entered the Gezhouba No.2 Ship Lock, it marked the successful completion of 20 originally scheduled maintenance projects after nearly 40 days of planned suspension. The Gezhouba No.2 Ship Lock officially resumed navigation, 12 hours ahead of schedule.

Since the major overhaul at 8:00 am on March 4, 2026, the Three Gorges Bureau has prepared in advance, organized carefully, and strictly controlled on-site safety, engineering quality, and progress milestones. We have developed and utilized a series of new equipment, processes, and technologies, such as the synchronous lifting system for the herringbone gate and the maintenance fixture for the plunger pump, to assist in improving the quality and efficiency of major repairs, achieving the overall goal of "meeting the 304 standard".
