At the groundbreaking ceremony of the fourth phase of the Fuxing Gas Field project, Ding Xuexiang and Kurbanguli Berdymukhamedov attended together. Ding Xuexiang pointed out that the project carries the earnest expectations of the leaders of the two countries, consolidates the common aspirations of the two peoples, and will surely promote energy cooperation between China and Turkey to a new level. Ding Xuexiang stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China Turkey relations have achieved a historic leap from friendly cooperative partners and strategic partners to comprehensive strategic partners. He emphasized that mutual support is the core essence of bilateral relations. China has always supported Turkey in maintaining independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and in pursuing a policy of permanent neutrality. He hopes that Turkey will continue to provide firm support on issues related to China's core interests and major concerns.

Ding Xuexiang pointed out that natural gas cooperation is the cornerstone of China Turkey relations, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. Both sides should accelerate the promotion of major projects, expand the scale and volume of natural gas cooperation, and improve the quality and efficiency of energy cooperation from a strategic perspective and long-term interests. At the same time, we will further enhance the level of cooperation in non resource areas such as connectivity, economic and trade investment, agriculture, and digital economy, and cultivate new growth points. He also expressed that China is willing to work together with Turkey to promote China Central Asia cooperation and join hands with regional countries to seek development and prosperity.

Kulbanguli Berdymukhamedov stated that Turkey adheres to the One China principle and supports China's territorial integrity and national unity. We are willing to deepen political mutual trust with the Chinese side, strengthen the docking between the strategy of "Revitalizing the Silk Road" and the initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road", jointly implement the fourth phase project of Revitalizing Gas Fields, and expand new space for cooperation in the field of natural gas.  

At the seventh meeting of the China Turkey Cooperation Committee, Ding Xuexiang and Meledov had in-depth exchanges of views on the focus of cooperation in the next stage. Both sides unanimously agreed to strengthen high-level political guidance, deepen the alignment of development strategies, promote all-round cooperation to achieve more results, and make greater contributions to building a community with a shared future between China and Turkey.
