On April 25, 2026, the construction of the Muhima Zanggu 4-B section of the Luanda Ring Expressway, undertaken by China Railway 20 Bureau Angola, officially began. Political figures such as the Governor of Igolo Bengo Province, Ozilio, and the Mayor of Kalenbo City, Francisco, as well as local residents attended the ceremony.

After conducting on-site inspections, Governor Ozilio highly affirmed the comprehensive strength and performance reputation of China Railway 20 Bureau, calling it a "highly trusted partner of local governments". Subsequently, Mayor Francisco and Deputy General Manager of China Railway 20 Bureau Angola, Fu Zhengyun, jointly signed the construction order and laid the foundation.

It is reported that the total length of the project route is about 12 kilometers, and the entire line adopts concrete rigid pavement with a main pavement width of 7 meters. After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate the current traffic congestion in Karunbo City, improve the layout of the second and third level road networks in the Zanggu area, fill in the gaps in regional traffic, and comprehensively improve road traffic efficiency and quality.

Previously, the area only had primitive dirt roads, with dust flying during the dry season and mud and water accumulation during the rainy season, posing significant safety hazards. Local residents eagerly await the opening of the road to improve travel conditions. Mayor Francisco of Kalenbo stated in an interview that the road project is a key livelihood project that benefits residents along the route. It is of great significance for optimizing the regional road network structure, facilitating residents' travel, and activating the development vitality of the area.
