[Shanxi Zefengda LNG Helium Extraction Phase II]The second phase of Shanxi Zefengda natural gas liquefaction and helium extraction project has officially started construction, with an investment of 1.3 billion yuan, covering an area of 256 acres, and constructing an annual production capacity of 480000 tons of LNG and an annual purification capacity of 370000 cubic meters of helium. It is expected to be put into operation in May 2027. The first phase was completed in 2023, with an annual output of 240000 tons of LNG and 198000 cubic meters of by-product helium. In July 2026, the Guxian Water Conservancy Hub Project on the Yellow River entered a comprehensive acceleration stage. As a strategic project for Yellow River management, its dam site controls over 60% of the basin area. After the official start of construction in 2024, a large amount of earthwork and concrete work has been completed. In 2027, the river will be intercepted, and after full completion in 2034, it can supply water to more than ten million acres of farmland in Shanxi and Shaanxi, and supplement the follow-up power of Xiaolangdi water and sediment regulation.
