On May 9, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Shen Minjuan was invited to attend the China Mongolia Economic and Financial Cooperation: Opportunities and Prospects Forum hosted by Tsinghua University in Ulaanbaatar.

Ambassador Shen Minjuan pointed out in his speech that China and Mongolia, guided by building a community of common destiny, rely on jointly building the the Belt and Road cooperation platform to continue to improve people's well-being and share development dividends. China's 15th Five Year Plan steadily promotes high-level opening up to the outside world, and the official establishment of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone has opened up new opportunities for pragmatic cooperation between China and Mongolia. She hopes that Tsinghua University can strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various sectors of Mongolia, contribute professional think tank strength, and help the stable and long-term development of cooperation between the two countries.
