The 2026 "the Belt and Road" International Economic and Trade Exchange Conference for SMEs kicked off on May 28. In order to deeply integrate into the high-quality construction of the "the Belt and Road", and help SMEs to expand the Portuguese speaking, Russian speaking and national markets along the line, the "the Belt and Road" International Economic and Trade Exchange Conference for SMEs with the theme of "Silk Road Qin'ao · Going Steady and Far" will be jointly held in the main venue of Tianmu Qintai Conference and Exhibition Center in Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone and the venue of Macao Special Administrative Zone from May 28 to 30, 2026. This conference is hosted by the China Portuguese (Spanish) National Economic and Trade Service Center, the "the Belt and Road" Working Committee of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, supported by the Economic Development Bureau of the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and co organized by the the Belt and Road Multinational Business Association. It focuses on cross-border economic and trade cooperation, and creates a full closed-loop offshore service platform integrating policy docking, project implementation, supply and demand matching, and financial empowerment.

At present, small and medium-sized enterprises have become the new force in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", but they are generally faced with such sea going blocking points as asymmetric information, difficult customer acquisition, expensive financing, and weak compliance. This conference takes the integration of Qin'ao as the strategic pivot and digital technology as the full chain lever, accurately covering the full cycle needs of enterprises going global. At the meeting, the first integrated Qin'ao small and medium-sized enterprise overseas full cycle service platform in China will be officially unveiled, integrating one-stop services such as policy consultation, supply and demand docking, cross-border payment, compliance risk control, overseas operation and maintenance, building a "port for going abroad", realizing "meeting and docking, docking and landing", allowing small and medium-sized enterprises to return with orders. Simultaneously opening a special session for cooperation in the Russian Far East, attended by an official delegation from the Khabarovsk Krai, focusing on promoting industrial platforms such as the "Oriental Bridge" Industrial Park and the Great Ussuri Island Science and Technology Park, as well as the development of mineral resources such as gold, copper, aluminum, coal, and oil and gas. High quality projects such as Sakhalin Port logistics, marine aquaculture, hydrogen energy, and drones cover all fields of energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and emerging industries. B2B precise docking is carried out on-site to help Chinese and Russian enterprises expand long-term cooperation space.

The conference will set up an international economic and trade exchange hall, an exchange hall of the "the Belt and Road", an AI digital economy special session and a B2B negotiation special area to promote buyers, distributors and investment institutions in countries along the route.
