Under the strategic guidance of the consensus between the leaders of the two countries, China and Singapore are continuously exploring the potential of economic and trade cooperation in agriculture, new energy and other fields, and cultivating more cooperation achievements. Both sides should continue to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation mechanism, accelerate the negotiation of the negative list of service trade in the China Singapore Free Trade Agreement, strive to achieve substantive results within the year, and create better conditions for the development of bilateral service trade.

Wang Wentao pointed out that in the current international economic and trade situation, China and Singapore should strengthen communication and cooperation under regional cooperation frameworks such as the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, deepen trade and investment cooperation, share the opportunities and dividends brought by the integration of regional production and supply chains, and continue to inject momentum into the stability and prosperity of the region and even the world.

McLay expressed gratitude and congratulations to China for hosting the 2026 APEC series of meetings. China is an important economic and trade partner of New Zealand, and New Zealand attaches great importance to its economic and trade relations with China. The current global economy is full of challenges and uncertainties. New Zealand is willing to work with China to leverage complementary advantages, further strengthen cooperation with China, and promote trade and investment growth. At the same time, we are willing to work with China to strengthen communication and coordination in multilateral and regional mechanisms.Editor/Gong Ziwei
