On the morning of May 27, 2026, in the future factory of Zhejiang Jiaxing Minshi Group, a full-size humanoid robot independently completed a complete set of exhibition movements such as standing up and walking, with a strong sense of technology. After observing the scene, Serbian President Vu č i ć repeatedly praised and looked forward to Serbia introducing relevant technologies.  

Deeply cultivate industrial cooperation

Currently, pragmatic cooperation between China and Serbia continues to deepen. Since its establishment in Serbia in 2018, Minshi Group has been deeply involved in the local market for nearly eight years and has built 10 factories. In February 2026, Vu č i ć announced that Serbia will join forces with Zhiyuan and Minshi Group to build Europe's first large-scale humanoid robot production base, with an expected mass production and landing from 2026 to 2027. Vu č i ć admitted that during this on-site visit, he truly felt the rapid development of China's industry and witnessed the fruitful results of practical cooperation between China and Serbia. He stated that the two countries are about to cooperate in mass producing humanoid robots, and cutting-edge technology will be implemented in Serbia, which can be regarded as a new breakthrough in future technology. Subsequently, Vu č i ć attended the Serbian Investment Exchange Conference, listened carefully to the opinions and suggestions of Chinese enterprises on the local business environment and industrial support policies, and stated that Serbia will continue to provide a stable, high-quality, and favorable investment and business environment for Chinese enterprises.

At the investment signing ceremony, Vu č i ć witnessed the signing with over a hundred government and enterprise representatives, as well as youth representatives from China and Serbia. The two sides will implement new investment projects worth over 900 million euros in high-end technology, automotive parts, advanced manufacturing, and other fields.

Deepen youth exchanges

On the day of the event, the China Serbia Youth Cultural Exchange Center was officially unveiled. The center focuses on emerging fields such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy, humanoid robots, and low altitude economy, and builds a normalized and institutionalized youth exchange platform to help young people from both countries learn from each other and grow together. Vu č i ć delivered a message on site to the Serbian youth participating in the international youth exchange camp, emphasizing that hard work and dedication are the cornerstone of success. He encouraged everyone to study hard, work tirelessly, learn from China's diligent and progressive development spirit, deepen their professional knowledge, return to their hometowns after completing their studies, and build a bridge of friendship between Chinese and Serbian youth. On the occasion of departure, Vu č i ć stated that China and Serbia have close cooperation in various fields and fruitful achievements, and have comprehensively built top-level bilateral relations.
