Billion dollar layout in Turpan
Zhejiang Hengyi Group, a Fortune 500 company, regards Xinjiang as a strategic hub and plans to invest a total of 150 billion yuan within 5 to 8 years to build a complete industrial loop from coal to polyester new materials in the local area. The winning project this time is the opening work of this grand blueprint. The total investment of the first phase of the project is 25.7 billion yuan, with a construction period of 36 months. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2028. After reaching production capacity, it can produce 2.4 million tons of high-quality ethylene glycol annually, while producing 76000 tons of industrial grade dimethyl carbonate, 15600 tons of ethanol, and 37000 tons of sulfur as by-products.

Local technology solves temperature control problems
The DX-V controllable heat transfer converter won by Nanjing Dunxian this time is the crystallization of the company's years of technological accumulation. The core innovation lies in utilizing the principle of water phase transition heat absorption to transfer the large amount of heat generated by chemical reactions out of the catalyst bed in a timely manner, thereby avoiding local overheating. Compared with traditional technology, this equipment has a more uniform gas distribution, significantly improved carbon monoxide conversion rate, minimal bed temperature fluctuations, and significantly extended catalyst replacement cycle.
