On the vast construction sites along the Caspian Sea coast, cranes slowly rotate and welding sparks flicker in the morning sun. Chinese engineers spread out the drawings and repeatedly checked the pipeline route with Kazakh technicians. With the order of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, the new natural gas processing plant in Kashgar glycerol field has officially entered the implementation stage - this is not only a reshaping of Kazakhstan's energy map, but also another milestone for Chinese enterprises to deeply cultivate the Central Asian market.

According to Qazinform News Agency, Yerran Akhenanov, the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, presided over a special meeting to clarify the construction plan for the Kashagan new plant with an annual output of 2.5 billion cubic meters. The existing processing plant with an annual output of 1 billion cubic meters is under construction, and two production lines are advancing simultaneously, forming a synergistic effect of production capacity. Representatives from QazaqGaz, PSA LLP, NCOC Alliance and other parties attended the conference to clarify the collaboration mechanism and ensure seamless connection between each link.

The joint venture between China National Chemical Sixth Engineering Corporation Kazakhstan Branch and China Wuhuan Engineering Group has been officially designated as the EPC general contractor. The two companies, relying on mature technology and international engineering experience, undertake the entire process tasks from design, procurement to construction. The Kazakh side requires QazaqGaz to report progress on a monthly basis to ensure that the project is put into operation on schedule.keywords:Engineering infrastructure

Kashgar glycerol gas field is a core asset of Kazakhstan's energy industry, which used to be mainly exported in the form of raw materials and lacked deep processing capabilities. The joint construction of two factories this time will significantly enhance the local natural gas processing capacity, reduce the proportion of primary product exports, and promote the extension of the industrial chain towards high added value. The project is supervised by senior officials of Kazakhstan, with prominent strategic significance, and provides a platform for Chinese enterprises to further consolidate their advantages in the field of energy infrastructure in Central Asia.Editor/Yang Meiling
