In June in Bishkek, the sun shines on the Chu River Valley. Amidst the roar of construction machinery, the largest ecological technology factory in the capital of Kyrgyzstan has ushered in a historic moment. With officials from China and Kyrgyzstan jointly promoting the use of excavators, this factory, which serves as a city cleaner, has officially launched its second phase expansion project. This is not only a doubling of production capacity, but also a solid step for China and Kyrgyzstan to join hands on the Green Silk Road.

Processing 3000 tons per day

For a long time, with the acceleration of urbanization in Bishkek, the siege of domestic waste has become a difficult problem for municipal management. The original facilities are already overwhelmed, and this expansion is undoubtedly a timely rain. The project introduces internationally advanced waste heat treatment technology and is equipped with a high standard multi-stage exhaust gas purification system to ensure emissions meet environmental requirements.

Data is the best proof. At present, the first phase of the factory can process more than 1500 tons of household waste per day. After the second phase is fully operational, this number will directly jump to 3000 tons, while also simultaneously producing up to 90 megawatts of clean electricity. This means that the once headache inducing urban waste will be transformed into energy that illuminates thousands of households.

Fill the energy gap

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Kasimaliv, Bishkek Mayor Zhunushalyev, and Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping witnessed this moment together. For the local community, this is not just a waste disposal project, but also an important component of the national infrastructure upgrade.

Relying on China's mature solid waste treatment and waste to energy engineering technology, this project is helping Kyrgyzstan fill the gaps in ecological governance. By converting useless waste into valuable electricity, the project effectively supplements the local power supply, reduces dependence on traditional fossil fuels, and injects new impetus into the sustainable development of the city.

Building a Green Silk Road Together

The implementation of this expansion project marks the deepening of cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan in the field of ecological infrastructure. China, with its rich experience in this field, is actively participating in the green transformation of Central Asian countries through specific projects.keywords:Engineering infrastructure

Both parties are using the factory as a carrier to continuously explore new models for green technology output and cross-border environmental protection industry cooperation. This is not only a mutually beneficial and win-win situation in business, but also a vivid practice of building a community with a shared future for mankind. In the future, with the advancement of more similar projects, a vibrant green Silk Road will extend across the land of Central Asia.Editor/Yang Meiling
