[The 10GWh sodium ion battery project has started construction] On June 15, 2026, the production project of Sodium Yuan Technology's 10GWh sodium ion battery in Yanchi County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia started construction in Gaoshawo Chemical Industrial Park. It is reported that the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of a production line for 60000 tons of composite sodium iron phosphate positive electrode materials and 30000 tons of bituminous coal based hard carbon negative electrode materials, as well as equipment and supporting facilities; The second phase of the project involves the purchase of equipment and construction of a 10GWh battery cell production line and PACK assembly production line.
