The sunshine in the Fergana Basin is scorching, and the roar of machines in the Kokand Free Economic Zone is more rapid than usual. Recently, Anna Bozorov, the governor of Fergana, walked into the production workshop of Yongxin Ceramics and carefully inspected a batch of ceramic tiles that had just been produced. Behind him, the founding team of Jinghua Ceramics is detailing the operational efficiency of the production line and the progress of new product development. This on-site inspection is not a routine matter, but to finalize an expansion plan related to the future of local building materials.

In recent years, with the continuous acceleration of infrastructure construction and urbanization in Uzbekistan, the market demand for high-quality building ceramics has become increasingly strong. However, due to outdated craftsmanship, traditional local production capacity is unable to meet modern construction standards, and the huge supply-demand gap has long relied on imports to fill. In this context, as an industrial hub in the country, Fergana Oblast urgently needs to introduce foreign investment and technology to fill the gaps in the industrial chain and achieve breakthroughs in industrial diversification.

Government and enterprises join hands to expand production capacity

During in-depth consultations, both parties reached a deep consensus on upgrading and renovating existing projects, expanding production capacity, and constructing new factory areas. This cooperation is no longer limited to simple production capacity output, but focuses on enhancing the modern competitiveness of Uzbekistan's ceramic products. By introducing incremental investment and consolidating the foundation of the building materials industry, China and Ukraine have established a roadmap for continuous deepening of cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit, aiming to build Fergana into a ceramic industry highland radiating to Central Asia.

Market gap brings vitality

The domestic infrastructure boom in Uzbekistan is surging, with an unprecedented demand for high-end building ceramics, from urban residences to public facilities. The backward production technology in the local area leads to a single color and unstable quality of products, which cannot meet the needs of construction and upgrading. Faced with this reality, the state of Fergana has chosen to open its doors and actively utilize the "living water" of foreign investment to irrigate its industrial fields. Jinghua Ceramics, with its mature technology in the field of ceramic tiles and other areas, has precisely entered the pain points of the market and rooted itself in the local area through a joint venture model, bringing not only funds but also much-needed technical and management experience.keywords:Foreign construction news network

Industrial chassis is more solid

As a key milestone in Jinghua Ceramics' overseas expansion, this expansion will further consolidate its market share in Central Asia. The deeper significance lies in the fact that the Fergana region has gathered over 270 Chinese affiliated enterprises, and dozens of joint projects covering industry, infrastructure, and commerce are steadily advancing. The expansion of Yongxin Ceramics is a microcosm of Chinese enterprises' deep cultivation in the local area. This is not only a successful practice of extending China's production capacity overseas, but also helps Uzbekistan gradually establish an independent and controllable building materials production capacity system, effectively reducing dependence on imports and continuously activating the "spring water" of local industrial economy.Editor/Yang Meiling
