The morning light passes through the skyline of the southern part of Kuala Lumpur and lands on the long dormant vacant land of Bukit Jalil. This used to be a silent self owned land on the ledger of Ma Resources Group, like a chess piece that remained motionless. But as the AI wave sweeps Southeast Asia, this soil is about to be redefined - no longer a pile of steel and cement, but a highway of data flow.

Overview of Cooperation Signing

Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil Central Real Estate Company has partnered with Pelintis Akka to build a data center in Bukit Jalil, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, that meets the demands of artificial intelligence computing power. The overall development investment of the project is 2.1 billion ringgit, equivalent to 507.3 million US dollars, with a total construction area of 46000 square meters and a computer room computing power scale of up to 65 megawatts.

Bukit Jalil Central Real Estate is under the jurisdiction of Ma Resources Land, which is a subsidiary of Ma Resources Group. Last week, the company signed a project cooperation contract with a subsidiary of PEMANDU Partners International.

Project cooperation operation mode

This project is the first time that Ma Resources Group has laid out a data center track, and the construction land is a self owned plot of central real estate in Bukit Jalil, covering an area of 37320 square meters. Both parties signed a ten-year lease agreement, with Pelintis Aka responsible for long-term operation and leasing. At the same time, in collaboration with Inspur Communications Malaysia, they coordinated the entire process of project construction, equipment debugging, and post operation and maintenance.

The Managing Director of Ma Resources Group stated that this cooperation is a key milestone for the group's development, as it enters the rapidly growing AI computing power track. The ten-year long-term rental model can bring sustained and stable income, greatly revitalizing land assets. At present, the 65 MW computing power has received multiple pre lease intentions, and the area has the potential to expand the data center. Currently, investment in AI data centers in Malaysia is hot, and this week Selangor enterprises have also finalized a RM2.5 billion data center construction project. Construction standards and completion period

This data center is built in accordance with the international Uptime Level 3 standard, with a stable operation rate of 99.982%. It is equipped with redundant power supply lines, and does not require downtime for operation and maintenance, adapting to the requirements of artificial intelligence business operation. Both parties plan to sign a formal landing agreement in the third quarter of 2026, and the overall project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.Editor/Gong Ziwei
