[Alxa Molten Salt Energy Storage Project Formally Registered] On July 7, 2026, the Inner Mongolia Boyuan Yingen Chemical Alxa Natural Alkali Supporting 90MW/900MWh Molten Salt Energy Storage Project was registered. The project is located in Alxa Right Banner, with a total investment of 388 million yuan and a construction period from August 2026 to December 2028. We will construct a complete set of electric heating, molten salt heat storage, steam generation, and steam turbine power generation systems, equipped with binary solar salt heat storage media and various pump bodies and heat exchange equipment. After completion, we will rely on green electricity direct connection to provide energy storage and supply support for alkali processing projects.Editor/Gong Ziwei

As a strategic project for Yellow River management, its dam site controls over 60% of the basin area.
