[EU approves France's € 63 billion offshore wind power aid plan]On July 13th, the European Commission officially approved France's 63 billion euro national aid plan to support 11 offshore wind farm projects with a total installed capacity of 11.1GW and an annual power generation of 47.8 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for 10.6% of France's annual electricity consumption. The implementation period of the plan is 25 years, using a two-way price difference contract mechanism to stabilize electricity price fluctuations, and allocating assistance qualifications through bidding. This plan is formulated based on the Clean Industry Agreement National Assistance Framework, and is being promoted simultaneously in the three major sea areas of the North Sea, Atlantic, and Mediterranean. Three of the wind farms will replace the support arrangements prior to August 2025. Editor/Cheng Liting

OneSubsea and Eni have signed the EPC contract for Phase III of the Baleine project in Cote d'Ivoire, providing a complete set of subsea production systems for 13 wells, including Christmas trees, umbilical cables, manifolds, and control systems. After the third phase is put into operation, the daily production of the oil field will increase from 60000 barrels to 150000 barrels, and the daily production of natural gas will increase from 80 million cubic feet to 200 million cubic feet. Previously, China Wison Clean Energy had signed three FPSO EPCIC contracts, with a processing capacity of 90000 barrels of crude oil and 160 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The final investment decision for this project was completed in May, and it is planned to become one of the largest offshore energy development projects in West Africa. Editor/Cheng Liting
