[The expansion and renovation of Xining West Station has started] The expansion and renovation project of Xining West Station started on July 18th, with a total construction period of 12 months, and was undertaken by China Railway 21st Bureau. The project will add one arrival and departure line on the north side and relocate the existing line. After renovation, the number of arrival and departure lines will increase to 12; Build a new comprehensive building and signal building, upgrade the contact network, communication, and signal systems. After completion, it will form a highly efficient distribution bureau with 4 on the north side and 6 on the south side, filling in the aging and shortcomings of station facilities, greatly improving the train receiving and dispatching capabilities, effectively diverting the pressure of Xining Freight Station, smoothing the freight channels of Lanqing and Qinghai Tibet Railway, and consolidating the positioning of the logistics hub of Qinghai Silk Road. • As the first coal power and other capacity replacement and reconstruction project in Guangzhou and the first batch in Guangdong, the total investment scale of the 2x600MW coal power and environmental protection replacement project of the Pearl River Power Plant in Guangzhou is about 5.6 billion yuan. By adopting the old demolition and new construction mode, two 600MW ultra supercritical secondary reheat coal-fired power generation units will be built at the original site. Two units are expected to be completed and put into operation in 2028 and 2032 respectively, with an estimated annual power supply of over 5 billion kilowatt hours after commissioning.
