[Tanzan Railway Activation Project Groundbreaking] On July 17th, the comprehensive building of the High Skilled Talent Training Center and Modern Dispatch Command Center for the Tanzania Zambia Railway Activation Project was laid in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, marking the official entry of the project into the physical construction phase. The two centers cover a total area of 21800 square meters and have a total construction area of 9870 square meters. They integrate talent cultivation, operation management, dispatch command, and logistics support, and are equipped with five professional dispatch stations, as well as train dispatch communication and comprehensive monitoring systems. The project is constructed by China Civil Engineering Corporation and will support the modernization of the operation capacity of the Tanzania Zambia Railway after completion. Editor/Cheng Liting

  • As the first coal power and other capacity replacement and reconstruction project in Guangzhou and the first batch in Guangdong, the total investment scale of the 2x600MW coal power and environmental protection replacement project of the Pearl River Power Plant in Guangzhou is about 5.6 billion yuan. By adopting the old demolition and new construction mode, two 600MW ultra supercritical secondary reheat coal-fired power generation units will be built at the original site. Two units are expected to be completed and put into operation in 2028 and 2032 respectively, with an estimated annual power supply of over 5 billion kilowatt hours after commissioning.
