As the first coal power and other capacity replacement and reconstruction project in Guangzhou and the first batch in Guangdong, the total investment scale of the 2x600MW coal power and environmental protection replacement project of the Pearl River Power Plant in Guangzhou is about 5.6 billion yuan. By adopting the old demolition and new construction mode, two 600MW ultra supercritical secondary reheat coal-fired power generation units will be built at the original site. Two units are expected to be completed and put into operation in 2028 and 2032 respectively, with an estimated annual power supply of over 5 billion kilowatt hours after commissioning.
