[The freight volume of the Inner Mongolia Railway has exceeded 50 million tons] As of July 26, 2026, the cumulative freight volume of Mombasa Nairobi Railway, a landmark project jointly built by China and Kenya along the the Belt and Road, has exceeded 50 million tons. The railway has a total length of 472 kilometers and was opened for freight transportation in 2018.
