The 20 MW flywheel energy storage project under construction this time is part of the Golmud Dongyue Energy Storage Power Station of China Green Development Qinghai Branch. Dongyue Energy Storage Power Station is a large-scale hybrid new energy storage project, mainly including a 150 MW/600 MW grid type lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage system, a 20 MW flywheel energy storage system, and a 5 MW lithium-ion supercapacitor system.
