On August 12th local time, the Green Design Forum for Sustainable Development, hosted by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO), was held at the United Nations Palace of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. As a leading high-end equipment enterprise in China, Weichai Power has been invited to give a keynote speech on "Green Design for Sustainable Development", showcasing the responsibility and commitment of Chinese high-end manufacturing enterprises in practicing sustainable development to the world.

WGDO is the world's first non-profit international organization dedicated to promoting global green design development, with official certification from the European Union and special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. This forum focuses on global core issues such as green design, dual carbon emissions reduction, and green technology. Representatives from the United Nations, multiple government agencies, international organizations, industry associations, universities, multinational corporations, and others attended.

On the forum, Weichai Power, based on the concept of green design, systematically shared the company's diversified technology routes for laying out green products relying on green technology, as well as green energy transformation paths such as thermal efficiency improvement, power density improvement, alternative fuel application, new energy solutions, microgrids, etc., to help achieve the goal of the "Green Design Carbon Reduction of 10 Billion Tons" initiative led by WGDO with practical and feasible solutions, and received high praise from on-site guests.
