By 2025, the company will invest nearly 10 billion yuan in research and development, with a research and development team of nearly 20000 people. As one of the first leading intelligent factories in the country, Weichai Power vigorously promotes digital transformation and empowers green manufacturing with intelligence. By building a global digital R&D platform and introducing AI super engineers and digital simulation technology, the product development cycle has been shortened by 20%; Promote equipment updates and human-machine collaboration, achieve 100% automatic detection of key processes, effectively improve production efficiency and quality consistency, and reduce resource waste in the production process. At the same time, the enterprise relies on cloud platforms to provide real-time detection, fault diagnosis and other services for over two million engines worldwide, reducing equipment energy consumption and carbon emissions through precise operation and maintenance.

Weichai Power has successively been awarded as a national level green factory and the first zero carbon factory in the internal combustion engine industry. The coverage rate of ISO14001 environmental management system certification has reached 100%, and the emissions and disposal of exhaust gas, wastewater, and hazardous waste have achieved 100% compliance, contributing to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goal through practical actions.

Implementing Efficient and Low Carbon through WOS Management

Green operation is an inherent requirement for sustainable development of enterprises. Weichai Power relies on the WOS management model and industry-leading carbon management system to establish a standardized low-carbon operation system. Through refined management and digital empowerment, it achieves energy conservation, consumption reduction, and efficient collaboration in the operation process.

Relying on the digital energy management platform to standardize energy management, Weichai Power has obtained ISO50001 energy management system certification. Through various means such as management, technology, and structural energy conservation, it promotes the transformation of the park's energy structure and continuously improves energy utilization efficiency. At the same time, carry out carbon inventory checks covering all operational links, systematically identify sources of carbon emissions, and provide data support for the formulation of emission reduction strategies.

Weichai Power has established a quality and risk management system that covers the entire lifecycle of its products. Multiple measures such as exemption from inspection for incoming goods, third-party controlled shipping, and setting up quality gates in the production process have been taken to promote the transformation of quality management from "post fire extinguishing" to "pre fire prevention". At Weichai, every component has an exclusive "ID card", achieving one item, one code, and full traceability. The digital tracking coverage rate reaches 100%. Once a quality problem occurs, it can quickly locate the raw material batch, production line, and operator, achieving a closed-loop solution to the problem. By 2025, Weichai Power's customer satisfaction rate will reach 93.13%, confirming the value of "Weichai quality" through word-of-mouth.

Taking on the role of chain leader to drive collaborative carbon reduction

As the "chain owner" enterprise of the industrial chain, Weichai Power not only deeply cultivates green development itself, but also takes the initiative to shoulder responsibilities, driving thousands of supply chain enterprises to cooperate in transformation and carbon reduction, building a green and win-win industrial ecology, and promoting the sustainable development of the entire industrial chain.

Weichai Power will include carbon reduction requirements in its supplier admission standards, using green and low-carbon as the "entry ticket" for suppliers. To assist supply chain enterprises in enhancing their green development capabilities, Weichai has launched a green and low-carbon development initiative and established the "ESG Value Partner Award" to guide suppliers to jointly practice the concept of green development.

In terms of technological collaboration, Weichai Power actively collaborates with supply chain enterprises to carry out technological breakthroughs, helping supply chain enterprises achieve independent and controllable capabilities.
