On August 14, 2026, the bidding candidates for the construction and installation of the raw water pretreatment system for the Three Gorges Mengneng Dongsheng Thermal Power 4 × 1000MW expansion project with a total investment of 15.7 billion yuan were announced. China Electric Power Construction Hubei Electric Power Construction ranked first with a quotation of 22.9392 million yuan and a construction period of 120 days, which needs to be completed before winter. The project has an installed capacity of 4 million kilowatts and is an integrated wind solar thermal storage peak shaving power source. Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the head of Qingdao Wanlin Group met in Namangan Oblast and planned to establish a modern agricultural logistics center. Wufang provides a 3-hectare fully equipped land parcel in the free economic zone, which can be connected to the railway. The project integrates production, warehousing, testing, and distribution. The Chinese side will conduct feasibility studies and prepare relevant design cost documents.
