[Bid opening for Huaneng Yingkou offshore wind power section] On August 24, 2026, the EPC bidding results for the offshore engineering of Huaneng Liaoning Yingkou Offshore Wind Power Y1 and Y2 projects were announced. The total installed capacity of the two sections was 700MW, with a total amount of approximately 3.981 billion yuan. The consortium of East China Institute and Central South Institute respectively won the Y1 and Y2 sections. The project adopts 12-14MW units, equipped with an offshore booster station and a shared onshore centralized control center. It is planned to start construction in October 2026 and be fully connected to the grid by the end of 2027. It will become the first large-scale construction of provincial managed offshore wind power project in Bohai Bay, Liaoning.Editor/Gong Ziwei
