[Nanyang shared energy storage power station starts operation]On August 19, 2026, the first section of the 100MW/400MWh shared energy storage power station project in Wancheng District, Nanyang, constructed by China Chemical Engineering Southwest Company, completed its foundation laying and entered the substantive construction stage. The project adopts a lithium iron phosphate battery route, equipped with a 220kV boosting station, and has peak shaving and frequency regulation functions. After completion, it will optimize the regional energy structure and ensure stable power supply to the grid. The project team will coordinate the entire construction process and make every effort to create a regional shared energy storage demonstration project. Editor/Cheng Liting
On August 18, 2026, the China National Nuclear Corporation's Huineng Guangdeshan North 180 MW photovoltaic power generation project, undertaken by China Water Resources and Hydropower Tenth Engineering Bureau, officially began construction. The project is located in Shanbei Village, Qiucun Town, Guangde, Anhui Province. It belongs to the tea light complementary type, with an AC side installed capacity of 150 megawatts and a supporting 220 kV booster station and transmission line connected to the Xuancheng power grid. The project has a running period of 25 years and an average annual equivalent utilization hours of about 1057 hours, which will achieve synergistic benefits between tea plantation planting and photovoltaic power generation. On August 18, 2026, the first wind turbine pile foundation of the high proportion application project of smart energy and new energy was successfully sunk in the Zhapu Port area of Jiaxing Port, and the project officially entered the main construction phase. The total installed capacity of the project is 12.5 megawatts, with an annual power generation of 26.07 million kilowatt hours and an annual carbon reduction of about 16000 tons. After being put into operation, it will supply clean electricity to the port area. At present, the supporting projects in Beilun and Yueqing Bay are being promoted synchronously, forming a hierarchical construction trend, and the project strives to achieve grid connection by the end of the year.
